Arcata provides a wide variety of Information Technology services for its Customers including all aspects of Oracle database design, web page development, IT security, and Network Help Desk Support.

We have expertise in all facets of Oracle including design, reports, forms, performance tuning and conversion from Sybase and Filemaker Pro to Oracle. The programmers and developers are responsible for providing the customer with schedules, software requirements documents and creating/presenting PDRs, CDR, and ORRs.

Arcata provides all internal and external web page development in accordance with government standards, especially the American Disabilities Act, including special development in Flash. The web team also provides web page standards to provide a seamless professional web design.

The IT Security staff has expertise in many computer platforms from Mac OS to Linux, and of course, Windows. Our staff manages and configures different firewall applications, monitors all border network equipment and traffic and configures/maintains the center web proxies. The IT Security staff also tests equipment and applications.

We are experienced in operating PC Network Help Desks to respond to users’ inquires and troubleshoot problems either reported by the users or discovered with monitoring. The Help Desk responsibility includes system administration, maintenance, system upgrades, user training and help.
