Congratulations to Arcata 2009 NASA Honor Award Winners

On June 9, 2009, Dryden Flight Research Center held its 2009 NASA Honor Awards Ceremony at which twenty awards were given to Arcata employees on the Research Facilities and Engineering Support Services (RF&ESS) prime contract.

Fiber Optic Shape Sensing Team

In recognition of development and flight testing of fiber-optic strain measurement systems and algorithms which have enabled light weight deformation measurement of flight vehicles.

Group Achievement Award:
Implementation of the Aircraft Mgt. Module (AMM) and Integrated Asset Module (IAM)

For exceptional accomplishments in implementing the first ever "total asset solution" at NASA, which integrated both inventory and cost into the Agency core financial systems.

Gulfstream III UAVSAR Project Team

In recognition of the development and flight validation of an in-flight capability to conduct repeat pass interferometry with a synthetic aperture radar.
